Welcome
In 1927, on a wet and muddy runway near New York City, Charles Lindbergh took off towards Paris, France in a small single engine aircraft. Christened the Spirit of St. Louis by its financial backers, the airplane had been built in sixty stress filled days in San Diego, California and had been designed by Donald Hall. Nearly 75 years later, Donald’s grandson Nova Hall rediscovered a historical collection of photographs, artifacts, and documents from the making of the Spirit of St. Louis. Discovered in the family garage in the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, Donald Hall’s story of a forgotten time waited to be told.
